When Keena gave us a little preview of her bridal session with Leah Golter Photography, we were in awe. And when she told us the reason for her organic, beautiful shoot at the Plano Nature Preserve — we loved it even more!
"I had never heard of a bridal shoot until I moved to Texas...Upon considering the idea of a bridal shoot, I got really excited at the idea of using it as an opportunity to surprise my future husband. My fiancé loves my hair wild, my makeup natural, and my spirit free. I knew I wanted a bridal shoot to capture all of those things. I intend on using the photos to create a book which I will present to him on our one month anniversary...I hope it will be the magical Bohemian Bow to tie up our wonderful engagement as we lead into marriage."
So sweet, right? Now you understand why we fell for this shoot. Our bride has true Texas flair — complete with voluminous hair, a big smile and a dramatic pose when needed. Not to mention her Allure Bridals gown.

If purple is the color of royalty, this wedding is certainly fit for a queen. Andrea + Alex's Toronto wedding is all things vibrant and joyful, as you can see from the photos captured by Luminous Weddings Photography. Aside from the obvious love shining from every photo, the varying shades of lavender, pale mauve and brilliant violet stand out as the key players in this outdoor affair. A purple ribbon tied up the sweet macaron duo on each guest's place setting, and even the beverages were accented with lavender sprigs.
The traditional, formal manor wedding called for a classic gown, so Andrea, our bride, wore an ivory lace dress — sweetly accented by scalloped lace edging and a cathedral length veil.
With so much love and joy evident in these photos — complete with splashes of purple — we found it impossible not to share! Happy Wedding Wednesday.
