This Wednesday we have a fabulous
rustic chic wedding that is sure to impress! We fell head over heals for all
the amazing details of this wedding, as well as the perfectly captured images
by Kristy Berends Photography. Even more impressive is the fact that almost
every aspect of Kayla and Aaron’s special day was a DIY project. The couple enlisted
their dearest family and friends to help them create their dream wedding. Everything
from the bouquets and
boutonnieres, to the centerpieces and favors was
carefully conceptualized and created by the bride. The amazing birch tree cake
stands were constructed by the bride’s grandfather, while her grandmother made
the runners that adorned the tables. Once all the décor had been made and set
in place the dessert table was filled with homemade sweets from various family
members and friends. Not only did the bride pay close attention to décor, but
also the details including her gown and accessories. Kayla wore Allure Bridals
Style 8751 with embroidered Venice lace appliqués and paired it with jewelry
handed down to her from her great-grandmothers.
