This Wedding Wednesday, we
bring you a bride who unabashedly “wanted everything” in her wedding. Cindy’s
goal in planning her wedding was to seamlessly blend every detail—from the
couple’s two cultures to her gown’s textures. The day was executed beautifully
and photographed by Travis Hoehne Photography.
The bride planned to
include elements from both her and her husband Lee’s cultures. The result was
an impossibly perfect collision of Chinese culture—such as the traditional dragon
dance—with western style, which included vintage cameras at the tables and in
print form. Nothing went unnoticed, even down to the straws. Using the gray and
canary yellow color scheme, striped straws were labeled in both English and
The celebration was full of
understated, delicate details. The bridal party carried dusty pastel bouquets,
and the petite hydrangea centerpieces were topped with glass cloche coverings.
In the spirit of blending
details, the bride embraced the richness of different textures in her slim,
strapless organza gown. Cindy was perfect in the ruched bodice, satin
sash and trailing lace skirt.
The reception's cutest touch? The gown
details were copied and echoed in Cindy and Lee’s custom cake topper—even down
to the Swarovski crystals at the waist. Adorable.
