Cindy + Lee's Wedding

This Wedding Wednesday, we bring you a bride who unabashedly “wanted everything” in her wedding. Cindy’s goal in planning her wedding was to seamlessly blend every detail—from the couple’s two cultures to her gown’s textures. The day was executed beautifully and photographed by Travis Hoehne Photography.

The bride planned to include elements from both her and her husband Lee’s cultures. The result was an impossibly perfect collision of Chinese culture—such as the traditional dragon dance—with western style, which included vintage cameras at the tables and in print form. Nothing went unnoticed, even down to the straws. Using the gray and canary yellow color scheme, striped straws were labeled in both English and Chinese characters.

The celebration was full of understated, delicate details. The bridal party carried dusty pastel bouquets, and the petite hydrangea centerpieces were topped with glass cloche coverings. In the spirit of blending details, the bride embraced the richness of different textures in her slim, strapless organza gown. Cindy was perfect in the ruched bodice, satin sash and trailing lace skirt.

The reception's cutest touch? The gown details were copied and echoed in Cindy and Lee’s custom cake topper—even down to the Swarovski crystals at the waist. Adorable.
